February 23, 2014

I have been kept busy storm chasing of late! Living in west Cornwall we are used to the fact that we will generally have 2 or 3 gales over the winter, and maybe a storm - this year we have had one storm after another with a couple of sunny days between. In the 40 years I've lived here, I've never seen anything like it. Because it does get wild, everything is built to withstand strong weather, but not this strong – hence the significant damage we have seen.
